Inbound Routing Configuration (Fax to E-Mail)
The following procedure configures Inbound Routing from one defined Fax Sender to one defined E-Mail
address. Also, it is presumed that the Network and E-Mail settings of the device are pre configured:
Procedure:
1. Open the web page of the device and “log-in” as the Administrator.
2. Click
Address Book and enter the E-Mail destination (Address Registration) to whom the faxes are to
be forwarded onto to.
Click Submit.
3. To enable Inbound Routing, click Application Settings, Administration Settings and from the Inbound
Routing drop down box, select Enable.

To configure the device to forward fax data to the receipients e-mail address and still printout a
Fax hardcopy, select Print Out All Report.

To configure the device to forward Fax data to the receipients e-mail address without printing a
fax hardcopy (unless an error occurs), select Print at Error.

Click Submit.
4. To route (forward) faxes from one sender to a particular e-mail address, the sender fax number which
is programmed into the sender machine must first be registered.
Click Sender Number/Address Registration.
5. Enter the fax number in the Fax Number field and click Add to List.
Note: The device refers to the Fax number programmed into the sender’s fax machine for routing
rather than using “Caller ID” therefore, the senders’ fax number must be entered correctly.

If the sender fax number is entered incorrectly within Sender Number/Address Registration, the
incoming fax will not be routed.

For fax numbers programmed with the international prefix (eg +61), enter the fax number without the
prefix, otherwise “Error 957 – incorrect fax format” will occur.

6. Once the sender’s fax number(s) have been entered, click Submit.
7. To configure an “Inbound Fax to E-mail rule”, click Inbound Routing Settings, then Add (The Table
Registration webpage should now be displayed).
8. Enter a name for the “Inbound Fax to E-mail rule” to be programmed within the Table Name field.
9. To forward fax data received from one particular sender, select Forward Received Data from Sender
Below and highlight the sender’s fax number.
Then select the perferred E-Mail address and click Submit.
