CHANGE IN SHAPE OF PARTS FOR 1K
FINISHER
1. Model Name:
MX-FN28/FN29 (Option
for MX-3050N/3550N/4050N/5050N/6050N
MX-3060N/3560N/4060N/3070N/3570N/4070N/5070N/6070N)
2. Description:
The parts for 1K Finisher have been modified as follows:
①
The shape of GUIDE PLATE:PROOF TRAY has been changed because
sometimes it interferes with PROOF TRAY, causing scratches.
②
The TORSION SPRING for grounding contacts with the ribs on GUIDE
PLATE:OPEN AND CLOSE:ASS'Y. This caused unstable contact with the
discharge brush so that electrostatic charges couldn’t be removed properly which

eventually caused poor paper alignment to occur. The ribs on the GUIDE
PLATE:OPEN AND CLOSE:ASS'Y have been removed as a countermeasure.
③
The REFLECTION PHOTO SENSOR:ORIGINAL TRAY responds and falsely
detects the frame as paper. Sometimes this causes papers to get stuck at paper
exit and results in a paper jam. The MAT: SENSOR has been attached to rear side
of the ARM:GATHERING ROLLER:ASS'Y as a countermeasure.
