2. Description: ROM upgrade
* Check that the ROM version is “010102” or newer when installing the finisher (MX-FN11) to
MX-M283N/ M363 series/ M453 series/ M503 series.
If the version number of MX-FN11 is older than “010102”, upgrade the version to “010102” or
newer before using the finisher.
If the ROM version is older, the problem described in page 2 tends to appear.

Modification of problem
Paper jam is detected while outputting paper onto lower tray after upper tray-full. When
papers are removed during jam clearance, tray switched automatically. However, F1-15
trouble is detected at this point because upper tray declines while outputting onto lower
tray. Modification is made to fix this problem.
