2. Overview
2.1. Modes in Wireless LAN
Two connection methods are available for the wireless LAN: Infrastructure Mode and Ad-hoc Mode. In
Infrastructure Mode, two client devices communicate with each other via an access point. In Ad-hoc Mode, two
client devices communicate with each other directly without using an access point; a mobile device and an MFP
communicate with each other directly to print to and scan from the MFP.
