CAUSE:  
The Sharp printers have at certain circumstances produced more static papers than expected. 
This can give feed problems both in staple and fold area. 
SYMPTOM: 
Varying Staple and/or Fold position. 
At severe cases it can even cause paper jam. 
SOLUTION:  
Added antistatic brush to Booklet maker infeeder outlet and improved grounding to infeed unit. 
IMPLEMENTATION:  
This solution is implemented at serial number with the last four digits: 
0163 and from -1004 (See Service manual section 5.7 for serial plate location) 
AVAILABLE:  
This solution will also be available as a complete Infeed unit to replace old version. 
It is available to purchase at part number: 
 10200008 
INSTALLATION:  
See service manual section REP 3.3.3 
This section will be placed in the box with the Infeeder. 
 
Assembly time is estimated to approximately 20 Minutes.
