10. Execute SIM 44-27, clearing half tone process control correction values

11. Execute SIM 44-06, forced execution of process control

12. Execute SIM 44-26, forced execution of half tone image correction

NOTE: At this stage if an error occurs, proceed to step 13 and then step 17, after this

come back to step 12 and continue with the rest of the calibration procedure.

13. Ensure good quality A3 colour copy paper is in the machine and perform the Engine

Auto Colour Calibration by executing SIM 46-24

TIPS: Select “FACTORY” method when calibrating. When putting the calibration page on

the glass lay 5 sheets of clean A3 paper on top. Inspect the Self print of 16 patches
test sheet and check that the half tones end in about the same position for all colours,
if not select repeat and go through the same process again (this can be repeated up to
4 times)

If the customer is unhappy with the colour quality a new definition (DEF1, DEF2 or DEF3)

for FACTORY mode can be set in SIM 63-11 (see below). If this is done then step 13
will need to be repeated. THIS WILL AFFECT ALL COLOURS

14. Perform colour copy density adjustments for all modes in SIM 46-01, refer to relevant

section of service manual

15. Perform Black and white density adjustment in all modes by executing SIM46-02

using Sharp Grey Chart; refer to relevant section of service manual

16. Execute SIM 67-31, used to clear the printer calibration value

17. Ensure good quality A3 colour copy paper is in the machine and perform the Printer

Auto Colour Calibration by executing SIM 67-24 (same as step 13)

NOTE: New definition for FACTORY mode can also be set for printer in SIM 67-26, if a

different target is selected repeat step 15.
