Step 1) Let the cartridge with F2 trouble stand with the gear side up. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Step 2) Check if there is anything abnormal (e.g., damage and deformation) on the gear.  
 
       ・ If some abnormality is found on gear,   Replace with a new cartridge. 
 
       ・ If no abnormality is found on gear,   Proceed to the step 3).  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Step 3) Pick the gear up as shown in Figure1, and turn it back and forth (5 or more rounds) until it 
 
       gets lighter rotation. 
 
      Note: The angle to rotate back and forth must be within 90°. 
 
 
   If rotated back and forth over 90°, the toner churning sheet inside the cartridge, etc. 
 
 
   may get deformed. 
 
 
Step 4) Insert it to the main unit and check if F2 trouble is cleared.  
 
 
     When visiting your customers site please instruct users to store the cartridge horizontally or they may     
     encounter this symptom. 
 
 
     Please demonstrate to users the correct procedure for toner cartridge replacement as below.
