TECHNICAL BULLETIN 
 
 
 
 
This instruction describes how to initialize Admin password and Service password for 
MX3050/3060/3070/3550/3560/3570/4050/4060/4070N series to default. Note that once 
password reset has been executed there is a limited number of times (99 times), it will be able to 
done again in the future. 
 
 
 
 
 
1) Press Home Button Twice   
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
   
 
2) Total Count screen appears. 
                    
3) Press the lower left side of the screen
  
       
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
4)  Password reset entry key appears. 
 
5)  Press the keys in the order listed below:   
 
 
For Admin Password reset:  [4] -> [6] -> [3] -> [//] 
 
 
For Service Password reset:  [5] -> [8] -> [7] -> [//] 
 
For Admin Reset 
 
 
6)  Administrator Password Reset screen appears. 
 
7)  Write down the eight digit Reset Key Issue Code  
     displayed on screen. 
 
 
The difference between Admin Password reset and Service Password    
 
reset screen is title; screen structure and transition of screens are same. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
For Service Reset 
 
 
 
 
8) Create a Ticket on 
https://support.sharp.co.uk
 under Password reset with 
Model number, Serial number and Reset Key Issue Code. Ensure the correct 
completed Authorisation form is attached to the ticket.  
 
Submit the ticket and our administration team will then submit the details. 
 
A reply will be sent with a 20 digit reset code which you will have to enter into the 
relevant section on the machines reset page ( Reset Key ) 
 
  
 
 
Press Execute button.
