Note 1: Check the position of the release lever F and R, when the release joint gear 
(24T) is fitted to the joint shaft fixing plate in the fusing unit. See below. 
 
 
 
1. Fit the release joint gear (24T) to the joint shaft fixing plate in the fusing unit, 
arranging the upper line on the release lever F in a horizontal relationship with 
respect to the metal end line of the lower frame F. See Figure 1. 
2. Fit the release joint gear (24T) to the joint shaft fixing plate in the fusing unit, 
arranging the lower line on the release lever R in a horizontal relationship with 
respect to the metal end line of the lower frame R. See Figure 2. 
 
Note 2: Ensure that the numbers of teeth observed next to where the release joint gear (24T) 
and the release idle gear engage each other agree with the following numbers of 
teeth in the figures below.
