REMEDY FOR NOISE FROM SECONDARY     
TRANSFER UNIT 
 
1. Model Name: MX-4140N/4141N/5140N/5141N, 
MX-4110N/4111N/4112N/5110N/5111N/5112N 
  MX-4100N/4101N/5000N/5001N, 
MX-2301N/2600G/2600N/3100G/3100N 
 
2. Symptom: 
Static charge accumulated on tension shaft on Secondary transfer unit while printing may   
 
 
be leaked to the main unit of ADU on Right door unit instead of reached to the ground via   
 
 
regular route (driven roller on Secondary transfer). 
 
 
As a result, nose (ticking sound) may be generated around Secondary transfer unit. 
 
3. Description: 
To remedy the noise caused by the leakage of static charge, Edge protection sheet F/R   
 
 
has been added between main unit of ADU on Right door unit and Secondary belt holder   
 
 
F/R to let out the static charge via regular route.
