Waste toner detect shaft 
 

 

This glitch occurs during the production process, so we have taken the following interim 
measure: 
If this glitch occurs in the waste toner drive unit for which the interim measure has already 
been taken in the marketplace, replace the faulty drive unit with a new waste toner drive unit. 

Interim measure 

1.  Tighten the screw on the left side of the waste toner drive unit. 

 

 

 
2.  Move the protrusion of the main body to the right edge of the slotted hole on the right 

side of the waste toner drive unit and then fasten the drive unit with a screw.
