How to check Doctor cover seal and Inner blade
(1) Remove two screws fixed to DV cover R unit.
(2) Remove the parts in the order of pawl in center, boss in rear side, and boss in front side and
then remove DV cover R unit
(3) Clean up DV cover R unit and see if there is any problem with Doctor cover
seal
or Inner
blade inside.
(4) If there is any failure part or torn part in Doctor cover
seal
or Inner blade, replace the part.

When removing the pawl in center, insert flat-
blade screwdriver in the space shown in the
photo, lift up the cover and remove.
When removing the boss in rear side, insert flat-
blade screwdriver in the space shown in the photo,
deflect the cover toward left and remove.
After removing the pawl in the centre and
the boss in rear side, shift the cover
toward right and then remove boss in
front side.
