3.Addition of stapler light shielding sheet

2. General:
When setting the stapler unit on the main body, the sensor detects the stapler position.
Since detection error may occur due to stray light of the light shielding section, a stapler
light shielding sheet is added.
3. Action:
From production in December 1999.
4.Change of the feeding paper guide upper
1. Model Name:
ARFN3
2. General:
If black solid copy is performed with the face of A3 or double letter paper up, the copy
face of the paper comes into contact with the rib on the transport face of the feeding
paper guide upper; this may cause thin stripes. Therefore, the rib on the transport face is
no longer used.
3. Action:
From production in December 1999.
5.Change of the photointerrupter

2. General:
For common use with other models, the photointerrupter is changed to a compatible part.
