Step 62:
Document feed motor (DFM) reverses direction.
(Resist rollers rotate.)
Original is sent to the transport section.
Step 63:
Document exit sensor (DES) detects the leading edge of 
the discharged original.
(DES output HIGH)
Step 64:
Original timing sensor (TIMS) detects the trailing edge of 
the original.
(TIMS output LOW)
Step 65:
Document feed motor (DFM) OFF.
(Resist rollers stop.)
Step 66:
Transport feed motor (DTM) OFF.
(Transport belt stops.)
Original stops.
Step 67:
Copier mirror base scanning starts.
Step 68:
Delivery motor (DEM) rpm decrease.
Step 69:
Document exit sensor (DES) detects the trailing edge of 
the discharged original.
(DES output LOW)
Original discharged.
Step 70:
Delivery motor (DEM) OFF.
(Reverse roller stops.)

the reverse direction by means of the flapper.
