This manual describes how to install user software for the Fiery Print 
Controller AR-PE3, and how to set up printing from Microsoft Windows and 
Apple Mac OS computers. For information about setting up network servers and 
clients to use the Fiery Print Controller AR-PE3, see the

application software, or network, see the manuals that accompany those products.

 

The term “Fiery X3e” is used to refer to the Fiery Print Controller AR-PE3. The 

term “copier/printer” is used to refer to the AR-C330. The name “Aero” is used in 
illustrations to represent the Fiery X3e. The term “Windows” is used to refer to 
Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and 
Windows Server 2003, wherever appropriate.

The Fiery X3e includes support for Fiery WebTools

 and software for Command 

WorkStation, which enables an operator to manage all jobs sent to the Fiery X3e. 
Although it may not be the case at all sites, the documentation for this product 
assumes the presence of an operator who controls and manages jobs sent by users 
from remote workstations.
