AR-PE2 Fiery Controller.
Overview:
A new updated version of the AR-PE2 system software is now available.
Version 1.1 is a full system upgrade (rather than a patch) and will require a
full re-install of the ARPE2 system software..

The System Software can be installed from the following location:-
AR-PE2 v1.1
SharpEye CD1 (08/02 or later)
For information on how to install or upgrade the ARPE2 system software,
please refer to NIS Bulletin 054.

Note:
Upgrading the system software erases all data on the HDD.

Print a current configuration page, as all set-up

Accompanying this System Software are updated versions of the User
Software. The User Software contains the latest version(s) of the printer
driver and utility software.

Although the AR-PE2 with system software v1.1 will work with any existing
AR-PE2 printer driver and software, it is strongly recommended that the later
versions of printer driver and software are installed on all workstations.

Printing Preferences:-
The “Fiery GUI Interface” (shown below) has now been included when setting the
“Printing Preferences” within Windows 2000 and XP.(Windows NT to follow).

Custom Page Size:-
AR-PE2 system software v1.1 now supports “Custom Page Size” printing.
To define the Custom Page Size from the print driver, open “Printing
Preferences” and click on the “Paper Quality” tab.

The Custom Page Definition screen appears.
Define the Custom Page size and use the Bypass Tray to print the page.
When printing a custom job where size is equal to or nearly equal to a standard
paper size (eg Letter or 11x17), set the automatic tray size detection function
within Custom Settings to “Off”.

When printing from Microsoft Word 97/2000 on Windows 2000/XP,

To print from a Windows XP client, install the print files from the following
