About Setup and Administration
The AR-P15 provides following tools to configure the AR-P15 network and printer settings:
Touch Panel Display
You can configure the AR-P15 from the Touch Panel Display on the copier. Since WebPage, which is
another tool to set up the AR-P15, is enabled only on the TCP/IP network, setup operation from the
Touch Panel Display is useful when you setting up the AR-P15 for the first time, or when the AR-P15 is
connected to your computer directly using the printer cable.
WebPage
You can also configure the AR-P15 network and printer settings from WebPage, a web-based utility.
WebPage is functionally superior to setting up from Touch Panel Display in some setup. In addition to
that WebPage provides the setup options for AR-P15 same as the Touch Panel Display, WebPage
provides setting options that cannot be set up from the Touch Panel Display.
:
You can also configure the AR-P15 network and printer settings from Command WorkStation
which is an optional software for the PS3 Scan & HDD Upgrade (AR-PK3+AR-SB1). For
further details about Command WorkStation, see
Fiery Utilites Guide in the User
Documentation CD-ROM.
Administrators can perform following AR-P15 setup from the Touch Panel Display and WebPage:
• Port Setup to specify Ethernet and parallel port settings.
P42 “Setting up the Port Options”
