Procedure for assigning manual (static) IP
address through the copier’s operation panel

ARNC5J Network Card
Description:
To enable a static IP address for the ARNC5J NIC, it is first necessary to
disable the DHCP function, which is set to 'ON' by default.
Follow the relevant procedure listed below in order to disable DHCP, which
will then allow a static (manual) IP address to be assigned to the machine.
Procedure:
The Procedure is different depending upon which copier it is being
performed.  Listed below are three different procedures: -
First for AR235/275 machines;
Second for AR-P350/450 machines;
Last for AR-M350/450 machines.
AR-235/275
1.  Press the 'PRINT' key on the copier.
2.  Press 'SPECIAL FUNCTION' key.
3.  Press cursor down key until 'KEY OPERATOR PRG' is highlighted.
Press 'OK'.
4.  Enter Key Operator Code (default setting is '00000').
5.  On Mode Select screen, cursor down to 'PRINTER', then press 'OK'.
6.  Use cursor down key to scroll to 'ENABLE DHCP'.  Uncheck this facility
by pressing 'OK'.
7.  Power cycle the copier.
8.  Repeat steps 1 - 5.  It should now be possible to scroll down to 'IP
ADDRESS SETTINGS'.  Whilst highlighted, press 'OK' to select this
function.
9.  Enter IP, SUBNET MASK, and DEFAULT GATEWAY settings.  Press
'OK' to enter new data.
10.  Power cycle the copier.

AR-P350/450
1.  Press the 'MENU' key 4 times
2.  The Operator panel will display "Key Operator Programs".  Press the 'OK' key.
3.  Enter the Key Operator code (default setting is '00000').
4.  Press the Down Arrow key 6 times.
5.  The Operator panel will display "SYSTEM SETTINGS".  Press the 'OK' key.
6.  Press the Down Arrow key twice.
7.  The Operator panel will display "NETWORK SETTINGS".  Press the 'OK' key.
8.  The Operator panel will display "IP ADDRESS SETTING".  Press the 'OK' key.
9.  The Operator panel will display "ENABLE DHCP".
10.  Press the Down Arrow key to toggle from "YES

" to "NO".  Press the 'OK' key.
11.  The Operator panel will display "IP ADDRESS".  Press the 'OK' key.
12.  Enter the IP address in a similar way to entering the Key Operator code.
13.  The Operator panel will display the message "COMPLETE THE SETTING BY POWER
OFF/ON".  Wait for a few seconds until the display reverts to "IP ADDRESS".
14.  Press the Down Arrow key.
15.  The Operator panel will display "IP SUBNET MASK".  Press the 'OK' key.
16.  Enter the Subnet mask in a similar way as the IP address.
17.  The Operator panel will display the message "COMPLETE THE SETTING BY POWER
OFF/ON".  Wait for a few seconds until the display reverts to "IP SUBNET MASK".
18.  Power cycle the printer.
AR-M350/450
1.  Press 'CUSTOM SETTINGS' key.
2.  Press 'KEY OPERATOR PROGRAMS' key.
3.  Enter Key Operator Code (default setting is '00000').
4.  Press the 'PRINT SETTINGS' key
5.  Press the 'NETWORK SETTINGS' key
6.  Press the 'IP ADDRESS SETTING' key.
7.  Enter the IP address and the sub-net mask, then uncheck the 'DHCP' box.
8.  Power cycle the copier.
