Program Icon, the following screen will appear:
The IP Peer-To-Peer software uses directed broadcasts to find units on your network.  The maximum
hop count determines how much of your network will be searched for print servers.  The larger the
maximum hop count the further the broadcasts will be sent.  You can set the maximum hop count to
any value between 0 and 15.  A value of 0 indicates that only your local subnet will be searched for
print servers.  Normally a maximum hop count of 2 or 3 is sufficient to find all print servers which are
close enough to you to be useful.  You should avoid using large hop counts since sending broadcasts
through all parts of your corporate network may have a negative impact on network performance.
Each printer on a print server is assigned an IP port number.  By default, printer 1 is assigned port
number 10001; printer 2 is assigned 10002, etc.  However, the network administrator can change this
setting.  If the print servers on your network have been configured to use a different set of port
numbers, then you must configure the IP Peer-To-Peer software accordingly.  Note that IP Peer-To-
Peer will use the new port number to communicate with all print servers.
