REF: ARE 991 DAMAGE TO THE 1ST/2ND PAPER FEED DRIVE 

UNIT AND THE DRUM DRIVE UNIT SHAFTS. 

 
1.Model Name:

2.Description: 

On the 1st/2nd paper feed drive unit and the drum drive unit, when the E7 ring is coupled with 
the shaft bushings (  8 to 12), the E7 ring can damage the shaft. Because of this, the E7 
ring has been changed to a C type ring, reducing the cnance of shaft damage. 
Because of the change to the C type ring, the mounting slot for the C type ring to the shaft has 
been changed from 0.9 mm to 0.7 mm. 
Therefore, when changing to the C type ring from the E7 ring, a new shaft will also be 
required.
