2. Symptom
When the paper cassettes are set up for heavy paper stock the fusing temperature may
overheat, as a result HL3 goes open circuit and H4-02 is displayed on the operation
panel.
3.Description
To prevent H4-02 from being displayed HL3 has been changed from a 150°c type to a
170°c type. In addition to this the thermostat shee t that is fitted to the current thermostat
has been removed.
Please Note
When installing the thermostat ensure that the are placed between the frame and the
thermostat as in the diagram below.
