When the paper is fed from either the LCC or the manual bypass in rare symptoms the
switch can be come ‘lazy’ causing MPFD2-S misfeeds.
3.Description
The conveyance sensors have been improved with a greater load spring in the LCC tray
junction and the manual bypass feeder unit.  The sensors used in the sections other than
those mentioned above have not been changed because the mounting direction is
different from that of the sensors above and a high load pressure is not required. To
differentiate between the old and new sensors is as follows, the connector colour has
been changed from white to blue and the spring colour has changed from silver to a
reddish brown.
