Information concerning handling of the Thermostat.
3. Content
When the bimetal section (black) on the surface of the thermostat (P/G24 -8) used in
these models is pressed by a finger, the thermostat enters the open state due to load, and
so cannot be used.
(Reference) If the thermostat is used in the open state, the H4 trouble (abnormal low
temperature trouble) will occur.
- Reason -
Since the bimetal section of the former thermostat was covered with a material serving as
a protection cap, the thermostat did not enter the open state even if load was applied
directly to it.
For these models, the thermostat housing the bimetal (black) outside it is adopted since
the warm-up time is shortened compared to the former models and the thermostat has to
be turned into the open state as a countermeasure against abnormality.
