2. Description 
For a machine where paper is frequently fed from the manual paper feeding multi unit, 
the multi feed frame's boss mounting the manual paper feeding latch pawl B on the 
rear side of the manual paper feeding multi unit section may break. 
3. Measures 
In the market, if the multi feed frame's boss mounting the manual paper feeding latch 
pawl B on the rear side of the manual paper feeding multi unit section broke, it was 
necessary to replace the multi feed frame. We recently informed that the manual paper 
feeding latch pawl fixing plate serving to substitute for boss was supplied as a service 
part to improve serviceability. (For details, refer to S/I No. DCJ-640.) 
In addition, a parallel pin has been pressed into the boss on the multi feed frame to 
increase strength of the boss on the multi feed frame for production (countermeasure 
against boss breakage).
