Upgrading Procedure 
 
 
 
Enter download mode by either entering Test Command 49-01 or by switching the power on while 
holding down the 'CA' key and the left scroll key (<) 
 
'DOWNLOAD MODE' will be displayed in the LCD panel 
 
Connect the P.C. to the machine using the USB cable 
 
Launch the Maintenance tool 
 
Highlight the AR-M150/155 Series image and click the Select button 
 
Check that trees are displayed in the "Special (MCU/IMC2/Facsimile)" folder in the integration 
maintenance program. (If trees are not displayed, check that the USB connector is connected, and 
select "Reconnect".) 
 
Double-click "Special (MCU/IMC2/Facsimile)" in the main tree to develop its sub trees, and double 
click "Download DWL Data Area" in the sub trees 
 
Specify the download file (*****.dwl) to be used 
 
When a download file is specified, downloading is performed automatically. 
On specifying a download file, "FLASH ERASE" is displayed on the LCD of machine 
 
When the display on the copier shows Download complete, switch the machine off, remove the USB 
cable and switch the machine on 
 
Check the firmware has updated successfully by checking TC 22-14 
 
Close the Maintenance Tool 
 
 
 
The Firmware upgrade procedure is now complete
