Addition or correction of the installation procedure
1. Model Name
AR-FX13 (FAX option for AR-M201, AR-M200, AR-208S/D, and AL-2060)
2. General
1) Since some destinations of AR-FX13 have been added (Thailand, Singapore, India,
Vietnam, and Indonesia), the settings have been changed.
2) Since some mistakes were found in the installation procedure of the AR-FX13 service
manual, they have been corrected.
3. Contents
1) Correction or addition of "[3] Installation procedure" in the AR-FX13 service manual
• The sentence of (12)-2) has been corrected, and some country codes have been added
(India, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia).
• (12)-4) has been added. (Soft SW setting change when installing the FAX option for
Vietnam)
2) Correction of mistakes in "[3] Installation procedure" of the AR-FX13 service manual
• The county code for Canada in (12)-2) has been deleted since it is unnecessary.
• The figure in "(13) Connect the FAX modem PWB line cable" has been corrected. (The
positions of the "TEL" and "LINE" connectors have been corrected.)

procedure.)
<Caution>
For AR-M201 for India, FAX option can be mounted from the production in February 2010.
However, it is required to upgrade the main unit firmware when mounting the FAX option to
AR-M201 produced before then.
Refer to S/I (DCE-799) already issued to upgrade the version.
(If the version on the AR-M201 packing label is "A01", it is necessary to upgrade the
firmware version.)
For AR-M201 for India, FAX option can be mounted from the production in February 2010.
However, it is required to upgrade the main unit firmware when mounting the FAX option to
AR-M201 produced before then.
Refer to S/I (DCE-799) already issued to upgrade the version.
(If the version on the AR-M201 packing label is "A01", it is necessary to upgrade the
firmware version.)
