2. Measure to alleviate problems of abnormal noise caused by skipping of the
coupling gears and measure to alleviate problems of roller marks left on the
copy paper by the paper delivery roller.

There were some problems of abnormal noise which occurred due to skipping of the
coupling gears (the paper delivery roller gears) of the 2-bin paper delivery reversion unit in
the main machine when model ARFN1 was loaded. There were also some problems of
roller marks left on the copy paper from the paper delivery rollers. As a measure to alleviate
this trouble, the action described below has been carried out.

3.Description:
1. The coupling gear (paper delivery roller gear) has been changed to a one-way clutch
gear.
2. The pressure spring of the driven roller has been removed. (An explanation has been
provided in the service manual.)

before the effective time described below, it is necessary to change the ROM of the FIN
gear.
