There was a possibility of abnormal noise occurring due to vibrations which were
transferred to the No. 3 paper delivery guide from the No. 3 bin tray paper delivery roller
shaft. The vibrations were caused by contact between the paper delivery roller shaft and
the paper delivery guide, due to paper delivery guide attachment deviance and tolerance,
and a lack of sufficient space between the two parts. As a measure to alleviate this
problem, a change has been carried out in the shaft protect sheet. The new shaft protect
sheet has a cushion attached to it as a means of insulating the vibrations from the paper
delivery roller shaft.
3.Action:
Action has been carried out from 2000 April production.
