The printer kit is designed to be attached to the digital copier AR-
5132 in order to use the AR-5132 as a printer of a personal computer.

The descriptions of this manual, therefore, are made on the assump-
tion that this unit is attached to the AR-5132.

For the items which are not described in this manual, refer to the
Service Manual of the AR-5132.

The AR-BD14 Printer Expansion Kit adds high-speed laser, set print-
ing capability, utilizing the powerful resources of the AR-5132 Copier
to provide high productivity and convenient features. Note that
throughout this manual, the copier with AR-BD14 Printer Expansion
Kit is referred to as the AR-5132 printer.

Amongst the AR-5132 Printer’s many useful features and functions
are the ability to:
