Symptom
The 1/3 of copy image from the rear end may occur.
Cause
Discontinuity of signal occurred in the line counter signal of PLG PWB and SYS PWB
caused this problem.
Description
PWB unit is added the circuit for eliminating discontinuity of signal. Also, updating the
laser ROM (from Ver.08 to Ver.09) described in T/R No.ARE-568 gets rid of the
occurrence of discontinuity of signal in the line counter signal of PLG PWB and SYS
PWB.
Therefore, regarding the improvement for this problem, after upgrading the laser ROM,
PWB unit doesn’t require to be replaced for the later production of May.
