There was a problem of the spring becoming snagged on the round holes in the RSPF R
side plate caulking assembly. As a measure to alleviate this problem, the round holes
have been changed to long holes. This action has been carried out as a measure to
improve operationability.

2.General:
There was a possibility of jams occurring due to errors by the transport motor driver IC
caused by static electrical noise. Static electricity was accumulated from the passing of
the copy paper because of the lack of conductivity between the external unit and the
upper guide plate to which the paper feeding rollers are attached, and the static electrical
noise was caused by the discharge of the static electricity after accumulation. As a
measure to alleviate this problem, the addition of a grounding wire was carried out.

The grounding wire has been connected by tightening both the fixing screw on the round
terminal side which secures the upper guide plate under the jam cover, and the fixing
screw on the U-shaped terminal side which secures the upper guide.
When securing the grounding wire, the lead wire should be pulled taut so that it does not
sag.

operations, a change has been carried out in the strength of the spring. The strength of

bearing is electrically conductive, which allows for conductivity between the upper guide
plate and the paper feeding roller. This action has been carried out as a measure to

carried out in accordance with a request that was received from the maker.
