"L1" trouble due to contact of the carriage lock with the

2. Symptom
If the carriage lock is turned excessively when it is turned toward the carriage release
position, the carriage lock contacts with the carriage, and the carriage does not
operate.
It may cause the "L1" trouble.
3. Description
The shape of the carriage lock has been changed to prevent the carriage lock from
being turned excessively.
