When the Drum counter reaches 17,000 copies the drum replacement indicator will
light steadily , indicating that a replacement will be needed soon. When the indicator
begins to blink the unit will stop operating until the drum unit is replaced.

The TD cartridge replacement indicator will light steadily when a replacement is
required. Copying/printing can still be continued but the copy quality will steadily
deteriorate until the indicator begins to blink and the unit will stop. It may be possible
to make a few copies after this point by taking the cartridge out and shaking it
horizontally and reinstalling it. If copying is not possible after this action the TD
cartridge must be replaced.
