*You can’t  switch between LAN and RS-232C by command. 

   When installing , please  choose  LAN or RS-232C  on OSD menu   

    in advance.   

 

Precautions for connection 

About RS-232C  /  LAN    

-Personal computer can control some function(ex. power 
on/off) with RS-232C or LAN. Please connect RS-232C or 
LAN in advance when installing the displays in height 
location and so on. It helps when maintaining the displays.

- In analog connection by D-sub15, image quality is 
potentially influenced by a video board or cable. And it needs 
all displays  adjustment when installing. 

-Please recommend digital connection(ex. HDMI, DVI, 
DisplayPort connection) when customers want high quality 
images. Image quality is potentially influenced by a video 
board or cable. Therefore, please check the image quality 
with connection in advance. 

-when extending the cable with optical cable, it may occur not 
to read in EDID accurately. If not read in EDID accurately, 
monitors cannot display accurately. Therefore, please check 
the image quality with connection in advance when using 
these devices. 

-When using the image recorder(ex. Personal computer, DVD 
player) or peripheral equipment(ex. distributor, video switching 
unit), please check the operation with connection in advance. 

-It is possible to output the images of DVI-I(digital signal) 
input to external device via DVI-D output terminal. 

-When outputting the encoded images by HDCP, please use 
the external device with HDCP 

- It is possible to connect the monitors and display the same 
images via DVI input/output terminal(up to 5).
