REASON
Important notes for Main Firmware update.
When updating from firmware to the latest version, user adjustments may be returned
to the default values.
When updating the main firmware, the block of EEPROM where the information set up
by the user was stored before is no longer used, and instead the information is moved
to another unused block. If the credibility for the data retention has gone due to the
defect caused by the frequent accesses against writing to EEPROM, this information
cannot be moved, and in some cases it causes the items set up by the user is
returned to the default value.
*Even though the credibility for the data retention with EEPROM has gone, the set
value can be retained by power-OFF/ON with the main power (the value is returned to
the default by connecting/disconnecting AC adaptor), and the user may not notice the
abnormality. In this case, the user will recognise this issue for the first time when
updating the main firmware.
