SYMPTOM Oven cavity does not reach the desired temperature during convection cooking.
Note that the oven convection cooking temperature should be within +/- 15
O
C of the
set temperature
.
REASON
Various problems can cause poor convection cooking performance.  Refer to the list
below, detailing items to check.
ACTION
Confirm the general build and functional performance of the oven as follows:-
◊
  Check the damper door open/close mechanism for correct operation
◊
  Confirm that the convection and fan motors operate freely and without restriction
◊
  Confirm that none of the internal fuses have blown
◊
  Check the alignment of the door (heat loss)
◊
  Check for correct operation of the thermistor
◊
  Check the value of R81, if 0 ohm replace with  1K ohm

W (SMD)
If the above checks are good, fit a washer to the underside of the thermistor on the
cavity top plate, as shown in figures below.  This will de-sensitise the thermistor by
slightly pulling it out of the cavity.
Use the part number listed on the next page for the washer.  It is important that the
correct washer is fitted.
