In addition to its function as a timer for cooking
and defrosting, you can use the timer for timing
where no microwave energy is used.  For
example, to time boiled eggs cooked on a
conventional hob, to monitor the standing time for
microwaved food or to remind you of the time
when making a long distance phone call.  

You can enter any time up to 99 minutes, 90
seconds.  To cancel the timer whilst counting
down, simply press the STOP/CLEAR key and the
display will return to the time of day.

EXAMPLE
To set the timer for 3 minutes to boil an egg on a conventional hob.

1. When the water comes

to the boil, add the egg
and press the TIMER
key once.

2. Press the 1 MIN  key

3 times

3. Press the

START/AUTO
key 3 times

The timer will count down.
When the display reaches
zero, the ‘beep’ signal will
sound.

  

Use the Weight Conversion Key to change the weight unit from kg to lbs or vice-versa.

EXAMPLE
Changing kg/g to lb/oz when using AUTO COOK 1 for Roast Beef/Lamb

1. Press the  AUTO

COOK key once.

2. Press the WEIGHT

CONVERSION key once.

The oven will be set for Lbs/Oz.
Enter the weight. And Press START.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR INSTANT COOK:
You cannot convert during programming INSTANT COOK. To convert the unit, select any AUTO
COOK/DEFROST menu, press the WEIGHT CONVERSION key and press the STOP/CLEAR key.
