Plug in the oven.
1. The oven display will flash:

2. Press the STOP key.

NOTE: When new, the very first time the grill is used, smoke and odour will be given off.

To avoid this happening when food is being cooked, heat the grill without food for approx.
20 minutes. (Please refer to note on page 12.)

• Your oven has 5 power levels, as shown

opposite.

• To change the power level for cooking, enter

the cooking time, press the COOKING
MODE button, then turn the TIME/
WEIGHT/POWER knob until the desired
power level is displayed.

Power level:
The microwave power level is varied by the
microwave energy switching on and off.
When using power levels other than 100P you
will be able to hear the microwave energy pulsing
on and off as the food cooks or defrosts. 

IMPORTANT: The microwave power level will
cook at 100P unless you turn the TIME/
WEIGHT/POWER knob to the desired
setting.

Check the power level:
To check the microwave power level during
cooking, press the COOKING MODE button.
As long as your finger is pressing the
COOKING MODE button the power level will
be displayed. The oven continues to count down
although the display will show the power level.
