Venta Upgrade to Version 1.4.174 
 
Venta. Upgrades to Venta are continuous and it is therefore possible to upgrade from the 
Initial release version of 1.2.200 to any upgraded version by running the upgrade to that 
version. This eliminates the need to upgrade sequentially through all preceding versions.  
 
The following changes have been added since 1.4.174 which include enhancements and 
fixes:- 
 
1.  OCIUS Chip & PIN 
 
Version 1.00f Utilities is also released to coincide with this application release. This will be 
available on the Sharp Technical Web Site 
http://www.tradenet.sharp.co.uk/tech/
 along with 
the Upgrade File and all documentation 
 
After extracting the upgrade file to floppy run SETUP.BAT from the floppy on the POS. Ensure 
this is done to all POS on site, after a “Close Session”/”End of Day” routine.  
 
N.B Always create a backup before running the upgrade in case of error.
