Q. “I have performed a “Clear all sales” prior to the site going live, but the
transaction history has not been deleted. Is it possible to delete the
transaction history?
A. Performing a “Clear all sales” will not delete the transaction history data.
To remove this data ensure that you have version 3.1.544 or above installed
and perform one of the following options.
1.
 
From command prompt on a Backoffice pc : enter the following text
ECHO Clear.Transaction.History >\\Master Machine Name\Vapp\Data\Remin\ALERT001.TXT
Or
2.  From command prompt on a the Master machine : enter the following text.
ECHO Clear.Transaction.History >C:\Vapp\Data\Remin\ALERT001.TXT
Or
3.
  Create a Batch file containing the text below and then using VPM
Configure – Miscellaneous – Pos User Menu enter the path to the batch
file.
ECHO Clear.Transaction.History >C:\Vapp\Data\Remin\ALERT001.TXT The text
Note :  The Clear.Transaction.History is case sensitive!
