I have configured all my IP-addresses on the Up-x200 and also the 
UP-x500.
How can I perform a ‘Ping’ test between the UP-X200 and the tills?
There are various different ways of performing a ‘Ping’ test between The Up-x200 and
the
Up-x500 machines.
•
Start - Programs – Command Prompt – Ipconfig – Ping
you can ping the tills and other hand held devices.
 
•
Start - Programs – Settings – Network and dial-up connections
allows you to view network settings including ip-address and subnet mask
 
•
Double click the Evmon.exe (event mon) icon and select – Status –
this can be used to perform a ping test.
And also displays the handheld ip address info, Firmware, encryption mode etc.
IMPORTANT!! only change network settings using Eventmon
