TECHNICAL UPDATE
VentaPro with Venta+
Rebooting Procedure
Model Name: VentaPro with Venta+
General:
If the VentaPro terminal is rebooted whilst the Venta+ HHT is
dealing with a table a lock out could occur on the HHT.
Cause:
The Table and Server flags are temporarily under the control of the
HHT as it is about to use the Table.
If the main Till is now re booted the application it is unaware of the
Server and or Table on the HHT.
For this reason the HHT could become locked out.
Action:
When re-booting the VentaPro Terminal: -
a)  Make certain that there are no servers logged on, or Tables
opened on the HHT
b)  After rebooting the VentaPro Terminal ensure the HHT terminals
are also re-booted.
