UP-X 300/200 Version History
Version
Specification/Resolved Issue
The following items 1 to 3 are specification changes or additions
X300
V1.6.0.13
X200
V1.2.0.13
[Compatibility]
The Version 1.6.0.13 is fully compatible with version 1.6.0.10. (All 1.6.x.x versions)
[OS versions]
UP-X300 OS version 1.07
UP-X200 OS version 1.23
1. Closed Transaction in Server / Backup-Server
In case the system parameter POS Programming / System Setting / Administrator / System Setting / [System] is set to “continue”.
If the Closed Transaction file became full the deletion of old entries started at the terminals. The long time needed for data deleting and POS
Server and Backup Server synchronisation resulted in the fact that some terminals in a system look like they were frozen.
Due to the above unfavourable behaviour we returned to original specification. If Closed Transaction file is full, no more registrations will be
stored in the close transaction file.
2. Tied Condiment accumulation print out at Kitchen Printer
A KP print out with modified Qty print of the tied condiments is now possible.
This new feature provides an improvement, especially if more than one entry for one tied condiment is selected.
Example in case the relevant condiment table is set to “KP item accumulation” and the max. entry number is set to 6 entries:
Example at entry:
1st entry: [Ice Cone] --[Chocolate]--[Chocolate]--[Chocolate]--[Vanilla]--[Cappuccino]--[Melon]
Next entry : [Ice Cone]--[Chocolate]--[Chocolate]--[Chocolate]--[Vanilla]--[Cappuccino]-- [Melon]
Print out on Kitchen printer receipt:
a) KpCondimentTiedQtyModify=0 [Specification is like at V.1.6.0.8]
2 x Ice Cone
  6 x Chocolate
  2 x Vanilla
  2 x Cappuccino
  2 x Melon
2
b) KpCondimentTiedQtyModify=1 [Modification of the tied Qty’s printed]
2 x Ice Cone
  3 x Chocolate
  1 x Vanilla
  1 x Cappuccino
  1 x Melon
At KP accumulation the example b) is easier to understand for the person who realises the food preparation (meaning is that each of the
Condiment main item is prepared with the later printed tied condiments). The Condiments are accumulated regardless of the sequence the
items are entered and the KP print out is modified for better/easier understanding/preparation.
A new parameter [KpCondimentTiedQtyModify ] in “X300_MainWindow.ini” file has been introduced.
3. Tied-Condiment with 0 price accumulation on the Bill
With the following settings the previous new specification introduced at the Enhancement_2 version was claimed.
Set the Bill layout to print tied condiments with 0 prices on the bill.
Set "Bill mandatory accumulation" at condiment programming to “No”.
Register 1 x Green salad with Yogurt and 1 x Green salad with French.
The bill print out look like:
2 x Green salad
     Yogurt
But the linked condiments items should not be accumulated and all should be printed.
Now all linked zero priced condiments are printed with the correct corresponding Qty.
The following items 1 to 11 are resolved problems
1. Compulsive table number entries
Pos programming / Employee / Revenue centre / Room / Table range
Even a table range was set for a Clerk a normal registration without table number entry was possible. Now only table registrations are possible
in such a case.
2. Customer Transaction Report in BO
Latest Print layout  is selected for Reports
A selected “Date Range” at the filter setting is printed correctly on the report now.
3. UP-X300 in network environment
Problems occurred in case many pre-set changes (changes with big data base files) were done at the BackOffice while registrations are
3
continued at another terminal in the system and the preset saving process (after leaving preset job) took a long time.
Sometimes at shutdown the message with “PLEASE WAIT” took a long time and it sometimes resulted in a POPUP error “Error in preservation
of the database”
After rebooting and power failure processing every think worked fine again
To prevent the above mentioned problems, the Time-Out of the “Service task” is extended from 1 minute to 20 minutes.
4. The following Free Text bug has been resolved:
In case by INI file it is set that the free text should be entered "after item “entry the following incorrect behaviour occurred.
Open table -> register condiment (f.e. green salad and dressing) -> Nbal -> reopen table -> change menu -> register article (sprite) -> press
free text -> Nbal
On the KP the former condiment together with the free text was printed. This problem only occurred in case the PLU-Menu screen was changed
during the above registration.
5. Z-Counters [SZCOUNT] for “Online” access
Regardless of the Online setting the above counters were at EOD always automatically saved (after EOD) in the Preset / Sales folder.
This has been corrected so that the Z counters are only saved if they are selected to be stored in the above folder.
6. Table reservation time
Previously it was possible to set an overlapping Table reservation time. This has been improved.
Now overlapping entries are not accepted and there must be  30 minutes between two reservations.
7. Server / Backup-Server system with compulsive Terminal CCD
CCD compulsive flag was not reset at the Backup-Server after CCD and EOD with Shutdown and re-boot.
8. Customer Bill
At Customer Bills the reported transaction amount is suddenly no longer corrected.
In another case the finalisation of a transaction for a specific customer caused the terminal to go to Windows CE desktop.
Both above mentioned Bugs have been corrected.
9. Condiment accumulation print out at Kitchen Printer
The following bug has been resolved.
Example:
Preset condiment table for ice cream with [chocolate][vanilla][strawberry]
Preset condiment table: Number of compulsive entries=3
Preset for condiment table: KP Accumulation = Item accumulation OR Total q’ty accumulation AND Bill Mandatory accumulation = Yes
Make Transaction:
[Ice cream] -> [chocolate] -> [vanilla] -> [chocolate] -> [Cash 1]
The KP bon print looks like:
1 X ICE CREAM
1 X CHOCOLATE
4
1 X VANILLA
1 X CHOCOLATE
Make Transaction:
[Ice cream] -> [chocolate] -> [chocolate] -> [vanilla] -> [Cash 1]
The KP bon print looks like:
1 X ICE CREAM
1 X CHOCOLATE
1 X VANILLA
1 X CHOCOLATE was missing.
10. Condiment change print out at Kitchen Printer
At usage of the “Condiment change” function the item and the “Modify Symbol” Void was no longer printed at the Kitchen printer. This has
been corrected.
At version 1.5.0.8 it was OK.
11. Report
At the Individual Clerk Z report the title of Auto Tip Paid was previously printed to X Report.
This incorrect behaviour has been corrected.
X300
V1.6.0.10
X200
V1.2.0.10
[Compatibility]
The Version 1.6.0.10 is fully compatible with version 1.6.0.9.
The following items 1 to 2 are resolved problems
1. In case of using the new function “Accumulated printing for Condiment items at the Bill- and Kitchen-Printers”, the
following problem exist:
a. A Condiment is registered on a table and finalized by NBAL or Final.
b.  Making the same registration of the same Condiment on the same table again.
c. There is no print out of this Condiment on the Kitchen Printer anymore.
2. Turnover is not printed out in Transaction and Department report at EOD due to wrong Terminal range setting.
