Image Procedure
Summary:
This procedure will guide you through imaging a 256Mb CF Card for use in a X300.  The
256Mb CF Card will allow more storage capacity for PLU’s.
Required items:
1) Compatible USB CD Rom Drive
2) 256Mb Restore CD (Ecr/EpoS Technical FTP Server 213.123.219.12)
3) 256MB Compact Flash Card (in X300) sales 
part number = L80X300CF256-1
4) Compatible X300 USB Memory with Latest application installed in X300 root folder
Procedure start:
1)
  Ensure the X300 is turned off
2)
  Ensure the new 256Mb CF card is inserted in the X300 (underneath)
3)
  Insert the Restore CD, plug the CD Rom drive into the X300 and power on the X300
The X300 will now boot from the Restore CD showing something like below:
LOAD_CE VER 1.0A UP-X300 CF RESTORE UTILITY

When completed, the below is shown:

System Halted – Please Restart !!

  Power off the X300 and unplug the CD Rom drive
5)
  Insert your X300 USB Memory stick and power on the X300
6)
 
The application will now install from USB stick, if prompted, update the OS also.
