UP-X300 Demo Version 2
with UP-X200 User Notes
Release Version 1.6.x.x
The program data “X300 demo version 2 with X200” has been developed
as a simple, and easy to use demonstration program with the main
purpose of allowing the connection of the UP-X200 Hand Held Terminal.
The demonstration program is almost the same as the X300 Demo 1 Version but with the added
capability of connection to the X200.
There are the normal features of PLU and Menus as well as Table Functionality, with basic Graphical
layout.
The printers have not been set-up
The PAY VIEW key is used to show the full receipt window details, and payment types screen
Table list will display ALL open tables
Suspend key will manually put the X200 in suspend mode, the power on key is required to bring it
from suspend.
Update key can be used to manually update data from the server (although the update should occur
automatically at change of Sever
There is also the Countdown feature which can be set to show countdown stock on both the x300
and X200 the X200 will change colour of the key-top when going into negative stock.
Please note that when using the X200 the “rubber keys” on the front of the X200 are useable, for
example to change Server on the X200 use the numeric 0 to 9 followed by the Clerk# key on the
X200 screen.
All other rubber keys on the X200 have functionality assigned to them, please contact Sharp Support
for further details.
You will notice there is a PICTURE key on the Manager Screen to use this feature you will need to
create a folder in the FlashDisk folder of your X200.
FlashDisk\UPX200_PICTURE
The Bitmap size is 440 x 330-pixel maximum and has to be a BMP type
Rename your BMP File name, for example 0001.bmp will be PLU 1
Bitmaps normally would be stored on an optional SD card in a folder called
\\MountedVolume\UPX200_PICTURE, but as the demo is only using one it is OK to store in the
flashdisk
Display
