CHAPTER 10. DIAG PROGRAM
1. INTRODUCTION
This section is a description of the Diagnostic operations for the UP-X200.
After insertion of a battery and before turning on the power, excute Full-Reset.
To excute Full-Reset, press and hold [Enter] Key and press the reset
SW on the back surface of the unit.

2. DIAG
2-1. ADJUSTMENT AND TEST ITEMS
Under DIAG, the following test items are to be performed.

Caution: Every time the UP-X200 startup the DIAG, a flash ROM and
DRAM will be cleared.
2-2. TESTING REQUIREMENTS
The following tools are required.
1) Battery (Exclusive lithium-ion rechargeable batteries,
two batteries with different levels of charge)
2) Earphone mic
3) 2.5

4) CF card for test
5) MMC card for test
6) Stylus pen
2-3. TESTS WITH DIAG

Some keys of the DIAG have special key assignments.
2-4. TEST
Place the designated lithium-ion rechargeable batteries into the unit and
turn on the power while holding down the [TRG1] key to startup the
DIAG and bring up to [Screen 2-4-1]. The screen is in QVGA mode.
