Valcretec OPOS Utility
Overview
The manual describes how to use the Valcretec OPOS Utility Software to verify
peripheral operations. The Valcretec OPOS Utility can operate the basic OPOS
implementations such as openservice, claimdevice, and close, etc and also can do
some device specific operations such as OpenDrawer - cash drawer, ClearText -
LineDisplay, and ScanData
– Scanner, etc.
The Val
cretec OPOS Utility provides two types of mode, “simple mode” for quick
a
pproach and “detail mode” for step by step diagnosis. For some devices it provides
little automation for user’s convenience.
The Valcretec OPOS Utility currently supports only four kinds of device - Cash
Drawer, Line Display, MSR, and Barcode Scanner which are controlled by Valcretec
OPOS Service Object Version 1.12.0.0.
