Order Status and Print Status shown in GLU key.
With this version, it is possible to display the Order" as well as the Print" Status at the GLU key.
Even the Print Status can also be used while the KP Hold&Go feature is disabled, it makes no real
sense because in such case there is no different to the Order Status from display point of view.
In order to display the status, the PLU GROUP text will be used for replacement of a placeholder
which is programmed at the GLU key.
The placeholder for the Order Status is $$$ and for the Print Status it is @@@.
For the PLU GROUP text programming refer to:
\PGM2 MODE\2 SETTING\6 TEXT\3 PLU GROUP\
For the text programming for the GLU key refer to:
\PGM2 MODE\2 SETTING\13 FUNCTION KEY\2 FUNCTION KEY\[GLU]\[GLU KEY]\[KEY]\[KEY TEXT]
After finalization of a GLU registration by NBAL or FINAL, the placeholder will be replaced by the
text of the PLU GROUP. If a GLU is finalized by a MEDIA key, the placeholder will be replaced by
spaces and only the GLU key text without the placeholder is visible in the GLU key.
In the below mentioned example, the Order Status placeholder ($$$) is programmed in the second
line and the Print Status placeholder is programmed in the third line of the GLU10 key.
Further programming have been made at the ECR:
Text for PLU GROUP1 is “Starter”, for PLU GROUP2 is “Main” and for PLU GROUP3 is “Dessert”.
PLU1 is assigned to PLU GROUP1, PLU2 is assigned to PLU GROUP2 and so on.
KP Hold&Go feature is set active.
If no item is booked on a GLU, the GLU key looks like:
If PLU1, PLU2 and PLU3 are booked on a GLU and
the GLU is finalized with NBAL, the GLU key looks like:
If the GLU is reopened and finalized with KP NEXT GROUP,
the GLU key looks like:
If the GLU is reopened and finalized again with KP NEXT GROUP,
the GLU key looks like:
The Order Status placeholder will be replaced with the text of the booked PLU GROUP with the
highest number.
The Print Status placeholder will be replaced with the text of the printed PLU GROUP with the
highest number.
