Saved Reports in Inline-System

Because the reports in an Inline-System will be taken at the Master, the “Saved Reports” feature
introduced at V1.50, is advisable at the Master only. The “Saved Reports” feature was not available
at the Satellite.
Besides of the main function of the “Saved Reports” feature, it is also possible to get e.g. the
Electronic Journal data saved onto the SD Card. Since it is not possible to receive and store the
Electronic Journal data from a Satellite at Master side, the “Saved Reports” feature is now available
at the Satellite as well.
If the “Saved Reports” feature is enabled at the Satellite it will save the Electronic Journal data and
the All RAM Backup respectively the PGM Backup according to their PGM setting onto the local SD
Card.
Furthermore the function key “EOD_READY_CHECK” is also enabled at the Satellite in order to
check if the machine is in a status that the “Saved Reports” can be carried out.

Online function (Clerk Z-Report) in relation to the ECR status

Some Online functionality depends on the status of the ECR, of course. For example if a Z-Report
has to be taken over night and a Clerk forgot to finalize his transaction, the communication was
not possible. This has been changed with V1.22 already.
Due to some fiscal legislation, this subject again has become a matter of change.
Whenever a Z-Report is carried out via Online functionality but a Clerk forgot to finalize his
transaction, this transaction will be forced to finalize and the transaction amount will be stored in
the CREDIT9 (OPEN RCPT) totalizer. It is regardless if the open transaction remained in the
foreground or in the background. e.g. in case of overlapped clerk function. Such kind of closed
receipts will neither be recorded into the Electronic Journal nor will they update the TAX totalizers.
