New SharpPOS Bundle installer is available to download from the Sharp FTP 
server 

. This installer is 275Mb. When launched the install 

will prompt for the following:

  Install on RZ-X650 



  Install on UPV5500 



  Install on UPV9900 



  Install on Non-Sharp hardware with mouse support. 

 
Detection of the IPaddress and the inclusion of this in the netmap.txt can also be 
selected. 
Latest demo data is also included.

Exiting the logged off screen to the management screen can now be performed 
by using the „Contactless clerk key‟.  Authority level for exiting logged off screen 
is Function 40 Manager.

Immediately after the Sharp POS application is started, it is now possible to use 
the „Contactless Clerk key‟ to sign into the Sharp Pos Main Menu. Authority level 
for initial login is set by Function 43 System.

this was not available in original interface. 
VPM Configure/External Interfaces/Kitchen Monitor has been revamped, 
Analysis course assignment is now by click. Also a new assignment type 'none' 
has been introduced. 

 

In a condiment sale: if a sub item was replaced (by touching the screen) and the 
item had a price, the price was included in sale (which is incorrect for 
condiments). Now fixed. 

 

If Analysis Shift (F123) was set for Log. SharpPos would crash. Now fixed. 
To resolve this issue a Microsoft patch 'vcredist_x86_5677.exe' is required. This  
will be installed automatically by running setup.bat. This is also fixed in V3 but 
without the requirement to run the Microsoft patch.
